In the study book it states on page 20 a website to download guidelines that can be brought to the exam. Does anyone know about this? It appears the link provided is no longer available.

I dont really know about it but is it saying Icd 9 official guidelines for coding and reporting?

Just about every code book now inserts the guidelines into the front of the book. However depending on the code book publisher they may not be the most updated version.
the link to the guidelines for ICD-9 CM is
http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/icd/icd9cm_addenda_guidelines.htm
you will need to scroll to the bottom where it says guidelines, however do notice that ICD-9 CM guidelines have not been updated since OCT 1 2011, if this is the date of the guidelines in the front of your codebook then you do not need to download them.
