I have a doctor that only performs the "checking the lead threshold" part of the pacemaker replacement surgery. Another surgeon performs the pacemaker removal and insertion. Is checking the lead threshold a billable procedure? It doesn't state that leads are being taken out or put in, just checked. Thanks
 
I have a doctor that wants to bill only for the lead threshold check. A different doc performed the replacement. Is this a 62 modifier or is it unbillable?
