Does anyone utilize an internal checklist for verification of a CPT code that is new and want to ensure all steps are taken to verify the code is correct in comparison to the procedure actual being completed by the provider?

For example: The provider requests a code to be used for bladder ultrasound. My thought would be to have a check list to ensure no steps are missed to ensure the correct code is chosen for billing.
