Hello,
I am currently working on audits for my company. We are having major issues with the auditors about chief complaints. What is the prefered verbage for a chief complaint?
Example:
CC: “Seem to be feeling good.” (Patient visit was scheduled as determined necessary by the physician at the previous encounter)
Can this be used for a CC? HPI includes abnormal lab results.
