Hello AAPC fam!

Does anybody have some cheat sheets or ideas on where I can find information on what certain insurances cover for chiropractic services. Thank you in advance for all your help

It depends on the insurance policy, not necessarily the insurance company itself. When I was working in a chiro office I went off of what insurance companies we were in network with, and I'd call to verify the benefits for each new patients to make sure chiro was a covered benefit

You can request a fee schedule from each company you verify benefits with. For example Blue Cross asks you to fax the services you will be performing and will send back their fee schedule. The fee schedule for 98941-43 is $25.94 for standard Anthem Blue Cross

You can also find the fee schedules online at each payers provider portal. Even when a payer has a standard fee schedule, often the policies offered by that payer can vary wildly. Like SydneyO, we call or check online to verify each patients benefits.
