We recently added a chiropractor to our ortho practice. He uses 98940 for most of his procedures and the insurance claims it should have an acute modifier. Can anyone help with this?

If you are billing medicare there is an AT modifier you have to use for beginning treatment and Ga modifier for maintenance however I haven't had to use it for any of my other insurance companys.
