Wiki Chiropractor Billing G0283 for UHC

Does anyone know if UHC will ever pay for G0283 being done by a Chiropractor? We have tried billing it with 97014 and get those back stating that it needs to be billed with G0283 along with a modifier, but UHC will not tell us what modifier is needed. We've done some researching and see some state to use GP, but that's a Therapy Modifier and this is being done by Chiro. Our group is not comfortable using GP unless we know that is 100% the correct way to code these.

We use the GP modifier in my practice for Chiropractors. It would need to be G0283-GP. It is not a therapy code exclusively. We also use 97110, 97110, 97530, etc, all the time. UHC requires a GP mofifier when billing these codes.
