Does anyone know how to get PT codes paid when billed by a DC in the state of California?

The provider wants to bill:
98940
97112
97110
97014

We have another DC doing similar procedures and everything except 98940 came back denied stating the provider was not a physical therapist, but everything I've read says in CA chiropractors should be able to bill PT services. Any input is greatly appreciated!
 
I would recommend checking your Local MAC. Although Chiropractors can bill for any number of services, Medicare says that they will only reimburse Chiropractors for manual manipulation or sublexation.
