To those with a specialty credential in Rheumatology/CRHC,....
It is my understanding that Rheumatology is a subspecialty of Internal Medicine. If you have a Rheumatology/CRHC credential, would you advise to first get the Internal Medicine/CIMC,... or just go for it and do the Rheumatology/CRHC? Any feedback on what an employer would want? I'm wondering if the Internal Medicine/CIMC is considered a building block to the Rheumatology/CRHC in the same manner that a CPC is a building block to a CPMA or specialty certification.
