Our physician has been using Clarifix in the office and we are still having issues with it getting paid mostly by Medicare
We use the unlisted code 30999 and "fax.doc" the invoice and procedure notes per CMS requirements
We do not feel that 30117 is appropriate for nerve cryoablation; 30117 description states excision or destruction of intranasal lesion)
What are other practices billing and reimbursement experiences?
I will add that I have spoken with Betsy at Strykker numerous times and she only offered sending their billing sheet; she did not have any extensive knowledge and admitted that they had acquired this product from another company and the billing/reimbursement sheet was all she had
