Does anyone know what I can code for a clear lens extraction to treat primary angle-closure glaucoma that will meet medical necessity?

From what little I've read about doing this procedure for treating angle closure glaucoma, it's still considered somewhat experimental so I doubt that there is a specific code for that at this time.

I sure hope your patient was informed that this procedure would most likely be considered experimental and agreed to proceed anyhow. If not, you're most likely going to have a very angry patient on your hands when they find out how much they owe.
