I have a question on this one because of how it is worded. The doc states that the procdure performed is a "Closed reduction under anesthesia of left radius and forearm ulnar shaft fracture." The op report says that the findings are: "Displaced radius and ulnar shaft fracture, which reduced easily under fluoroscopy.
My question is does code 25560 work in this situation or not, because to me it appears that the ulnar fracture was the only true shaft fracture, and the radius was just displaced. If not that code, then I thought possibly 25535, because they did do manipulation in the op report, but I wasn't sure what code to use for the radial displacement.
Ortho is new for me, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
