My provider performed a selective denervation of the thumb CMC joint involving: superficial radial nerve branches, lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve branches, median/palmar/motor branch and debridement/cauterization of nerve branches around the thumb CMC joint. I am trying to determine if billing 64772 is appropriate or would unlisted be better, 64999. Any input would be appreciated.
