Any thoughts on whether this is a billable service for Medicaid? I haven't been able to find any info on the Medicaid site. Patients come in for injections of antipsychotic drugs (long lasting once per month) and the injection is given by the RN but not seen by a physician/APRN. There is an assessment done. Is it appropriate to bill a 99211 in this setting? I am new to BH billing and the rules seem a little different for a CMCH than they are for physician billing.
