does anyone now more about the CMS EM 95-97 guidelines that are effective as of 9/20/13

in the past you had to pick 1995 or 1997 guidelines and use your choice for the entire encounter.
CMS policy says for services performed on or after that date you may use the 1997 documentation guidelines for and extended HPI along with other elements from the 1995 guidelines to document EM service.
