Hello everyone we all know that CMS has dropped consult codes effective 1/1/2010 and this also holds true for medicaid correct? I am just trying to clarify for my DR's i told them that it includes medicaid pt's as well but i am just double checking. shelly

Depends on the state. If the state's payment policy is based on CMS' payment policy then most likely they will not be recognizing the consult codes as well. Delaware is one of these states.
