other doc did open biceps tenodesis
same shoulder, same time, same anesthesia
would I use the 62
How would you bill this?

no they are not co surgeons in this instance. each one is performing his own distinct procedure so each one codes for what they document. To use a 62 modifier you have 2 surgeons performing distinct parts of the same surgical procedure.
 
do you put a 59 on one of the procedures. both docs are under same tax id. you dont get denied with no mods?
