Hello,
I have been told while training that we can bill as assist at surgery (PA with -AS modifier) if the surgery was performed as a co-surgery between two surgeons. This instruction makes sense but I am wondering if anyone knows of a direct reference that supports this practice. I am coming up blanks using google.
