Can anyone advise me on what is appropriate billing for this code in regards to a TKA or THA. Does this code include the placement and removal of the guidance tools. Can you bill external fixation placement and removal along with 20985?? help!!!!!

This being an add on code, it can be bill with your primary procedure such as 27488. It does not require the 51 modifier nor should it be paid at a reduction rate.
