I just want to ask why 33975 only is the correct codes for this scenario and not 33975 and 33404.

"Patient undergoes construction of apical aortic conduit with an insertion of a single ventricle ventricular assist device."

It would not be appropriate to report procedure code 33404 separately as it is a necessary component of the main procedure described by code 33975.
