Our physician wants to bill multiple units of CPT code 64450, as he is injecting one nerve/branch several times on a patient. I don't know much more than that, as the patient hasn't been seen yet today in the office. Last I knew, we couldn't bill multiple units of this code, (I have this written in my notes for some reason!) but I'm wondering if anything has changed??

I agree that CPT 64450 should NOT be reported more than once for multiple injections of ONE nerve nerve/branch.
