Hello -
i work for a primary care office and a patient of ours was experiencing issues with kidney stones and actually passed one of the kidney stones in office. a biopsy was done and sent to the lab. I am having the toughest time ever finding a code for this unique situation. Can someone please assist? :)

A biopsy was done of the stone? I've heard of stone analysis but not a biopsy of a stone. Kidney stone analysis is a test done on a kidney stone to see what chemicals are in it. Or do you mean a biopsy of the kidney? I'm a little confused about what you are asking. :confused:
