I have an ER chart with a patient with partially dislodged belly button ring...any ideas on how to code this?
 
I would code that as a foreign body of the skin, 911.6, since the belly button ring is a foreign agent that is not a normal anatomical occurrence. It's an alien to the body, in other words.
