I need a code for traumatic achilles tendon I am saying to use 845.09 but the doc insists there is another code, can anyone help?
 
We use 845.09 for traumatic achilles rupture. As far as I know, if this was result of an injury this is the only code I know to use. There is the nontraumatic dx code, 727.67, maybe you're doc is getting them confused?
