Hi, I'm trying to figure out if cpt code 92604 is a bilateral or unilateral code. I have a provider billing 92604 twice with a mod 59 on one line. Can anyone help me with this?

According to the American Academy of Audiology, 92604 is a unilateral code.
Each payer will have their own requirements on billing. One may want right and left modifiers (RT and LT) on two separate lines; one may want a single unit with a 50 modifier for bilateral.
