Hi there--
Is it appropriate to bill 75685 for a nonselective vertebral angiogram when the doctor did a common carotid angiogram (75665) that had contrast reflux into the vertebral, and he felt like this was sufficient imaging for the vertebral artery? The patient has a history of seizures and abnormality in the left posterior parietal lobe on MR scan and the intent of the cerebral angio is to rule out AVM/AV fistula or other vascular abnormality.
