I was wondering if there is an explanation as to where this code is done. I have some information that it is done in outpatient wound care facility. A surgeon here uses this code for debriedment in the office. Thank you in advance for help.
 
It is not restricted to a particular location. It can be used in the office or other facility, but the provider must have direct patient contact
