If Dr. did a partial decompressive L5 laminectomy is the code still going to be 63047?

Or is there another code that specifically states a partial?

Does this mean that a partial procedure is just one side and not bilateral??
 
I believe you may want to look into laminotomy codes such as 63042, but ultimately it will boil down to what the doctor describes in the op report.
