How do you code a spinal done by a crna for inguinal hernia repair?
 
Was the spinal the mode of anesthesia for the surgery? If so then you would code with the anesthesia code 00830 and whatever Q modifier is appropriate. QX if your CRNA is medically directed or QZ if they are personally performing.
