Wiki Coding after TL or vasectomy reversal

Is it appropriate to continue to use Tubal Ligation Status Z98.51 and Vasectomy Status Z98.52 after patients have had a reversal of those procedures? In the synonyms on icd10data.com it states that "History of" TL and "History of" Vasectomy are under the status codes. I want to be sure I am coding properly. To me, it makes sense that those procedures are always a part of their history so they should be coded on pts undergoing infertility testing and treatment. Please let me know if you agree or disagree.
