Pt opted to have all ten toenails done (TEMPORARY PROCEDURE 11730) at the surgery center and I am having a lot of trouble getting this paid. They have paid for random toes (at random rates) on two different EOB's.
This is what I did:
11730 TA
11732 59 T1
11732 59 T2
11732 59 T3
11732 59 T4
11730 T5
11732 59 T6
11732 59 T7
11732 59 T8
11732 59 T9
Any help would be appreciated :o

11732 is an add on code and should not need the -59.
11730-TA
11732-T1
11732-T2
11732-T3
11732-T4
11732-T5
11732-T6
11732-T7
11732-T8
11732-T9

If you are billing Medicare they do not pay separately for add-on codes as of this year. They are packaged into the parent code. So in this scenario you can get paid for parent code 11730-TA and 11730-T5.
