Wiki Coding Blood Loss in Surgery (Spinal)

Hello,

Greatly appreciate some clarity on this one. Scenerio: Patient has a Spinal Surgery, estimated blood loss is documented in the operative report as 2,500ml, complications of the surgery are listed but does not reference the blood loss. Post Op disposition: Patient transferred to ICU and Post Op Hemoglobin level. Should we code this blood loss and what code(s) should be considered.

Bonus: Appreciate any guideline reference(s) in your response.
