Can I get some names of the books used to help guide you in selecting surgery codes. In regards to ortho, podaitry.

Looking for ones that give the coding description in detail.

Hello,
I like to use the Ingenix, Coder's Desk Reference for Procedures. It has every CPT code and a description of what that procedure entails. There is also a book called Coding Companion that you can get for each specific specialty. Those are good books also.

I use Coding Companion for ortho it helps, it describes in detail.
