How many charts should be coded per hour? I feel like I'm moving like a snail and want to be more productive. I just started this remote coding position and need some tips on moving faster. Yesterday it took me 6 hours to post 7 charts...not good :(

There are many variables. What type of charts are you coding? Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, E&M, surgeries, CPT and ICD10?
Don't beat yourself up - there is a learning curve for everyone. Even seasoned coders are slow when they start new clients :)

I code pretty much everything you mentioned. Thank you for the awesome encouragement! It has gotten a little better :)
