If a patient come in for f/u after an open reduction internal fixation and as part of the exam they change the dressing would you code V54.1X along with V58.31?
 
If the patient was taken to the OR due to a traumatic injury, I've been coding their f/u as
V58.43 and V58.31 (for dressing change) and then usually one time after that V58.32 for the removal of either staples or sutures.
