Good afternoon,
I am wondering how to code for a subacromial bursa injection and a posterior glenohureral joint injection in the same shoulder. Can you code for two injections with CPT code 20610 even thought this is 1 major joint? What if two different diagnosis codes for each joint? Is a modifier needed?
