We had a pt come in for an office visit and a TET and when I bill I need to put a 25 on the 93015. Now the pt was referred for a LHC later the same day so do I put a 57 instead of the 25? Thanks Nancy:(

No modifier would be put on the 93015.

You would need a -25 still on the office visit charge.

A left heart cath has a 0 day global which is why a -57 modifier isn't appropriate. A -57 is only for surgeries that have a 90 day global period.
