I have a physician that did a S2 corpectomy and S1-S3 fusion using the lateral extracavitary approach for both. I am thinking i have to use the 69990 for all three of these codes. Of course then they have no RVU's but this is how he did this part of the surgery. He also did fracture care of S2, and S1. Posterolateral L4-S2 instrumentation, Posterolateral L4-S2 arthrodesis, S1 instrumentation, L4-L5 laminectomy for epidural hematoma, S1, S2, S3 laminectomies for epidural hematomas, and stereotactic Navigation. I have the other codes but not sure how to code the LECA codes since there are no codes. The codes I think are 27280-59, 50, 69990-LECA corpectomy, 69990-LECA - arthrodesis, 69990-LECA 2nd level fusion 22612-51, 22614 x2, 63268-51, 63267-51, G0415-51, 22848, 61781. Could you please help me code this or am i right to code the unlisted codes. Thanks!

this is interesting. I have been a neuro/spine coder for 7years. I have never seen this. I would be curious to see this OP-note. There are LECA corpectomy/fusion codes. I just have never seen a LECA approach to the sacrum. this doesn't seem right to me. sorry I couldn't be more helpful
