Hello, I am new to coding for deliveries, I have a pt that we saw for 6 antepartum visits, we did not deliver but the pt came back to us for postpartum care. Any help on how to code this? Can I use 59425 with 59430 or would the postpartum visits be billed as a regular E/M?
 
This is how I do it. I bill the 59425 with the office visits at a zero charge so the insurance company can see and has proof of the visits. I then bill 59430 for a post partum care visit (once) and if there are others, they are a zero charge as the 59430 pays for all of them.
