One of my Doctors has to redraw a BMP on a diabetic pt after her CT w/contrast. Do I just use 250.00 or is there another code that should go along with it? I was thinking V67.51? Thanks

Description for code V67.51 is follow-up examination, following completed treatment with high risk medication, not elsewhere classified. There is no documentation of any treatment hence it can not be coded. If there is any adverse effect due to contrast material then we should code adverse effect. Otherwise, it is ok to code diabetes only.
