I am a newly certified CPC and have a question regarding coding for a screening mammogram that was converted to a diagnostic, unilateral mammogram due to abnormal findings on the mammogram. Do you code 77057 and 77052 (screening mammogram codes) along wth code G0206 ( for the unilateral diagnostic mammogram) or do you use other CPT codes and/or G-codes. Please clarify. Thanks!
