Our Physician Recently Started Providing Sleep Testing, But Prior To Meeting With The Patients, He Is Forward Medical Records To Be Reviewed Which Requires 30-60 Min. Im Not Certain What Code To Use?? (99091,99359??)
 
I'm not 100% positive - but I think "both" of those codes are for "after" the physician/provider has seen the patient. Not codes used before the providers sees the patient.
I'm going to have watch this thread, I'd can't wait to see how it should be billed out!

How about 99358 - Prolonged evaluation and management services without direct face to face patient contact. The code states before and/or after direct (face-to-face) patient care (eg, review of extensive records and test, communication with other professionals and/or the patient/family)
