Can anyone advise me on how your ENT office is coding for a therapeutic nasal endoscopy? The doctor injected 0.1 cc of kenalog 40 into a left nasal polyp. An additional 0.1 ml was injected into the right middle turbinate. Our doctor coded an unlisted code 30999 and 31231 which the insurance carrier denied after reviewing the medical record note. Thanks!
