Hi Friends,
Please Help me with this:

Doctor has performed Salpingo-oophorectomy on the left ovary, Ovarian cystectomy on right ovary and Lysis of adhesion on same day. I have coded it as:

58740 - 614.6
58720.59.LT - 620.2 (Hemorrhagic cyst left ovary)
58925.59.RT - 620.2 (Simple cyst right ovary)

But the insurance paid only for 58720 (Salpingo-oophorectomy) and the other two procedures got denied stating THE PROCEDURES ARE INCIDETAL TO ANOTHER PROCEDURE PERFORMED BY THE SAME PROVIDER FOR THE SAME DOS.
What will be the more appropriate way of coding these procedures to get better reimbersment for extra time spent by the Doctor for Lysis of adhesion and removal of cyst.

Lysis of adhesions is always bundled, as for the cystectomy, you can try to appeal, but 58720 is one or both ovaries which makes the cystectomy inclusive to the BSO.
