I have a patient that has 2 cervix and 2 vaginal septums and it was found at her preventative exam. There was a cervical pap smear that has to be discarded and the exam had to be re-done as the clinician was not sure which cervix it was from.

Is there a special way this would be coded and billed out as two exams were done - for example billing a prolonged visit code in conjunction to the preventative code, or would you just code the preventative visit: 99395, 88142 X 2 -91 and V72.83 and 752.49 as the diagnosis codes?
