We are having MAJOR issues with rejections from Medicare on our high-risk patients for their well woman exams/paps!! We have tried billing both z91.89 and z77.9 individually (with procedure codes Q0091 & G0101) with no luck! Has anyone had any luck with getting these paid?? What code should we be using for our high-risk Medicare patients? Please share your experiences!!
Thanks so much!

Neither of those codes are used for well woman exams. You use the Z01.419 if no abnormality is found during the exam. You can use personal history codes to show high risk if one exists. It depends on what the risk factor is.
