I need help with coding the following DX.

Recent History of staph aureus endopthalmitis w/definite severe proliferative vitreoretinopathy and tractional retinal detatchment.

Op Note state "infection has been sterilized".

If the infection is no longer present, but the effects of the infection are, do you code the History of the infection?
