Good morning! I have a patient that had colon cancer primary, then liver 2nd and then had a pathological fracture of the femur one year ago. Surgery was not an option so they have been doing chemo. He is now being admitted to HH and the "Hospice" nurse coded as she feel he will be "Hospice". The code M84.551 Path fracture in neoplastic disease states that "clinical dimension only when the code is reported using an appropriate 7th digit indicating a subsequent encounter.

Question is: Would the 7th digit be "G" FX with delayed healing? I show that it can only be D, G, K or P. Thanks so much!!
