Coding loose hardware SECONDARY to infection.

I've got a preop dx for left great toe loose painful hardware with pseudarthrosis of the hallux interphalangeal joint. Doc got in there and found left hallux distal and proximal phalanx osteomyelitis and loose hardware secondary to infection. How would I code the dx for the loose hardware secondary to infection. I've been on this for two days! HELP! I think I've overthought it and there's no going back.
