I have a question about coding for a COVID recovered patient. If the patient has Gastroenteritis due to COVID but is now COVID recovered, would we still code u07.1?

I d bill Gastroenteritis as first dx, then history of COVID dx code of Z86.16. This will tie the 2 ds together. I hope this data helps you
